Every weekend, the garden-fronted dining room at 139 Ceylon Road opens early and slows right down. Coffee is poured from 9am. Sourdough comes out of the oven still warm. Stallholders set out trays of herbs, hand-thrown ceramics and things you did not know you were looking for. And Chef Quentin Pereira's kitchen serves a brunch menu that starts with eggs and ends, if you let it, with Sugee Cake.
The Weekend Brunch Market is a new Saturday and Sunday morning tradition in Joo Chiat — a pet-friendly, family-friendly brunch market in the East where you can eat well, browse local makers, and stay as long as the morning lasts.

Quentin's weekend brunch menu
A brunch menu cooked in the same kitchen that has been serving Eurasian home cooking on Ceylon Road for over two decades: eggs Benedict with a proper hollandaise, sandwiches piled high, and Eurasian favourites for those who want their brunch with a little more spice. Kids' options are available. Reserve a table or walk in.
Guerilla Coffee
Our weekend coffee partner. Specialty espresso, flat whites and filter brews, made to order from 9am — the reason to come early.
Artisanal sourdoughs, pastries and cakes
Fresh-baked sourdough loaves, morning buns, croissants and cakes to eat in or take home for the week. Quentin's own Traditional Eurasian Sugee Cake, baked to a family recipe, is available by the slice and whole. Whole cakes for celebrations can be pre-ordered from our Party Essentials collection.
Weekly pop-up stalls
A rotating line-up of local sellers, so no two weekends are the same:
- Live plants and herbs — potted herbs for your kitchen, houseplants, cuttings and growers who will happily tell you how not to kill them.
- Arts and crafts — ceramics, prints, handmade jewellery, textiles and small-batch goods from Singapore makers.
- Local finds — small food brands, sauces, preserves and gifts from independent producers.

- By bus: Services 16 and 33 stop at Maranatha Hall (stop 82139), a two-minute walk from the restaurant.
- By MRT: Dakota (Circle Line) and Paya Lebar (East-West / Circle) are each about a 15–20 minute walk, or a short bus or taxi ride.
- By car or taxi: Set your destination to 139 Ceylon Road, Singapore 429744.
Tips for a good morning
- Coffee and bakes start at 9am; the brunch kitchen is busiest from 11am. Early birds get first pick of the sourdough.
- Reserve a table if you are coming as a group of four or more.
- Most stallholders take PayNow and cash. Bring a tote for plants.
